U15s Too Strong For Rocklands

Lohit Kannan and Flynn Crosthwaite both retired on 30 and 31 respectively and Ethan Rushton scored an unbeaten 22 as Melton U15s proved a bit too strong for Rocklands in the Andy Seeley Trophy. Flynn, against his former club, played some excellent back-foot drives and ran very well with opening partner Lohit as Melton got off to a brisk start. Ben Johnson contributed 12 as Melton went on to score 141-3 off their 16 overs.

Rocklands were then bowled out for 51 with two wickets in an over from Lohit (2-1) and two for Cassie Mawby (2.4-0-6-2). Flynn (1-12) and Henry Marsh (3-1-10-1), plus a run out completed a good day for Melton.
