Paul Stevens
Right-hand batsman; Right-arm seam bowler
A very good cricketer in his prime, Paul played against Great Melton for Old Catton and then Acle before retiring with a host of wickets and a decent amount of runs to his name. Then a penetrative opening bowler, Paul was persuaded to make a comeback in 2019 once his son Liam started playing regularly for the C Team. While his bowling is still accurate, he showed his talents – and his body – might be more suited to batting by scoring an excellent 72 against Hethersett & Tas Valley. Paul continued to turn out last season, making some valuable contributions with the bat and showing a safe pair of hands in the field.
