Looking for a New Cricket Club?

If you have recently moved into the Hethersett or Wymondham area and are looking for a cricket club to play for, or if you are thinking of having a change of club, then Great Melton may have exactly what you need.

With excellent playing facilities in a beautiful parkland setting only a mile and a half from Hethersett and just three miles from Wymondham, Great Melton Cricket Club has something for everyone. The club are particularly keen to welcome players of 1st or 2nd Team standard, capable of playing in Divisions 2 and 5 of the Norfolk Cricket Alliance but, with 2 other Saturday teams in the Norfolk League, plus a Sunday team and two midweek teams there is plenty on offer for players of all ages and abilities.

The club will be holding indoor net sessions on Monday evenings at the UEA Sportspark from 8-10 p.m. beginning on Monday 24th February and any potential new members will be warmly welcomed. Outdoor nets will begin on Tuesday 21st April.

The Club also has a Ladies' team and a thriving junior section, that includes over 40 girls and planned social events include a V.E. Day celebration, a Beer Festival, junior cricket-themed ‘fun' evening, 6-a-side competition, quiz nights and a tour.

This season the Club has slashed its senior membership fees so it's only £20 to join! Do I need to say more?
