Joseph Graves

Right-hand batsman; Right-arm seam bowler

Joseph first caught the eye of the coaches when, as an U9, his pacy bowling helped his team win the Junior Festival competition in 2014.  When school commitments allowed, Joseph continued to represent the U11, then the U13s, helping the U13s to a SNCL championship in 2018.  He made his senior debut the same year, with dad Peter, helping out the B Team when they were hit by player shortages. Joseph is a useful and improving batsman but it is as a bowler where his real strength lies and his appearances for the Mid-Norfolk Sunday League team in 2019 showed he had the pace and movement to trouble Premier Division batsmen.  He is almost certain to feature in the 1st or A Teams in 2021 whenever he is free of school commitments.
