Jim Wimhurst

Right-hand batsman; Right-arm seam bowler; Wicketkeeper

Jim first played for Melton when Liam Hughes was captaining the B Team and persuaded his colleague at the N&NUH to help out but, when daughter Millie made the step up to senior Saturday cricket in 2019, that was the cue for Jim to dust off his cricket whites and play a little more regularly.  He certainly proved his worth as a bowler and fielder but also showed he could keep wicket very effectively if required.
