Eusha Fawad

B Team Captain; Right hand batsman; Off spin bowler

Eusha, the son of Fawad Kaiser, joined Melton at the start of the 2011 season. He played cricket as a young lad, representing Cambridgeshire at junior level, but having spent time in Pakistan then concentrating on football, he decided to make a cricketing comeback.  He showed flashes of his potential with the bat in his debut season but, in 2012, Eusha hit a superb 97 not out – his highest score – for the B Team and went on to play regularly winning the B Team Player of the Year trophy.  From 2013-16 Eusha was in Bedford, at Anglia Ruskin University sometimes travelling home to play but, having moved back to Norwich, he has been a regular in the Bs since 2018 where he enjoys being able to play in the same team as his dad.  A good attacking batsman and athletic fielder, he has been keen to try his hand at captaincy and, having captained the Bs in Matt Rushton’s absence in 2019, he took over from Matt at the 2019 AGM and is looking forward to his first full season at the helm.
