Connor White

Right-hand batsman; Right-arm medium-fast seam bowler

Connor played most of his junior cricket at Vauxhall Mallards before following James Robb to Melton in 2014. A brisk swing bowler and a big-hitting ‘calypso cricketer’ of a batsman who prefers aggression to circumspection Connor proved an excellent acquisition.  As a former student at Norwich School then at Leeds University, from where he joined us on tour in 2018, Connor’s studies and other sporting commitments have rather restricted his appearances but he has been involved whenever he can, helping with junior coaching and happy to turn out for whichever team needs him. An excellent fielder with a powerful ‘arm’ and a safe pair of hands, he averages a catch every 2 games.
