Clive Melhuish

Umpire; 1st Team Scorer; Right-hand batsman; Right-arm off-spin bowler

Clive moved up from Norfolk from London and his enthusiasm for all things cricket, led his then-neighbours, the Ellses, to introduce him to the club.  Clive immediately volunteered to help out in any way he could be of use and, having assisted behind the bar, umpired and scored at various times in the last two years, he settled into the role of First Team Scorer in 2019.  That was when he wasn’t called out of ‘retirement’ to help out the Cs.

There is ample parking, refreshments, snacks, gorgeous views and fantastic cricket available all season.
