Chairman’s Choice: May 1998

The Chairman's Choice this week is May 1998, the month when we re-discovered the ‘joys' of touring after an 11-year gap and when we fielded a junior team for the first time. The junior team was a mixed age one as coaching was in its infancy and, while the report of the “Easy Tiger” trip to Nottingham concentrates on the cricket, the photo's paint a fuller picture! There is also a reminder of our much-loved former secretary, David Bartram, who sadly died suddenly in 2014.
