Caitlin Ellis
Right-hand bat; Right-arm seam bowler

Caitlin became the first female Great Melton player to appear for the club’s A Team in 2019 and, when her A Level studies and other school commitments allowed, she showed she was more than capable of performing at that level taking 3-27 in one of her appearances. She first played for the U13 Girls’ team in 2015 and 2016, her performances winning her the Lucy Phoenix Cup as the Women/Girls’ Player of the Year in 2016. A ‘regular’ in the Women’s, U15s, and the C Teams in 2017, Caitlin really made an impact in 2018 when she took 7-15 in a C Team match against Hethersett & Tas Valley and was a member of the U15 squad that won the Andy Seeley Cup. Unsurprisingly she was voted Women/Girls’ Player of the Year award for a second time. A very useful, accurate bowler, Caitlin is also becoming a capable batsman and has shown a preparedness to do her bit off the pitch as well, serving as Junior Representative for 3 years as well as assisting at Junior Coaching.
