Whilst we’re all in another lock down and a new cricket season seems a long way off, we still have to elect officers and put plans in place for 2021 so the AGM will take place as scheduled on Wednesday 25th November at 7.00 p.m. but as a ‘Zoom’ Meeting.  Club members will be sent a link a few days’ before.  The meeting will, hopefully, be a short one with the main purpose being to adopt the various reports relating to last season; to elect officers and captains (hopefully en bloc) and to make a few important decisions relating to 2021.

Two officers are standing down, our Treasurer, Leo DeSalis and Membership Secretary, Sallyann Weston, and I thank them for their excellent work over the past few years.  Carl Fawkes has volunteered to take on the post of Treasurer and Maxine Rushton has kindly offered to combine the ‘Membership role with her other role as Junior Secretary.  I am very aware that Maxine (and Matt) already do a huge amount at the club and it would be nice to see some other volunteers coming forward to help out.  If anyone is interested in getting a bit more involved in any area: membership, welfare, pavilion (bar), finance, fundraising, coaching, anything really, please let me know.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on 25th November at 7.00 p.m.

Members should all have all received the agenda and the various reports by email but, if you haven’t got them, they can be downloaded here.

Steve
