Your club NEEDS you……….to reply!

As you know our fund raising committee work very hard to raise money for the club, to continue to provide you with the excellent facilities that you know and love. Without these events it would be extremely difficult to keep Great Melton Cricket Club thriving as it does.

As I am sure you all appreciate it takes a lot of work in the background to put these events together but to make them a success we need you to let us know if you are coming. We continue to push the events on every piece of social media that the club in involved with, from Facebook, Twitter to this website. Each social media post usually requests people to say whether they are coming, which for some reason passes people by… As a committee, all we are asking is that if you see the post and take the time to read it – that you simply say yes or no to your attendance. It’s not a difficult thing to do but too many times we are guessing at numbers.

Therefore, this is a plea from the committee to update us on your attendance! We have a race night scheduled for the 22nd April 7-7.30pm at the club, which should be a great way to start the ‘social season' off. Please get in touch, via the many options available to you Shoutbox/Twitter/Facebook/phone/text/Whatsapp or carrier pigeon!

I will shortly create an event on the Facebook page, which those of you that have Facebook, can give a simple yes or no.
