Great Melton has completed the signing of James Shipley from Vauxhall Mallards.  James, a top order batsman, has been with the Brundall club since 2009 during which time he played in the EAPL and Alliance Premier division, although his appearances last season were limited because of injury.  A proven run scorer in the Alliance, James is well known to some at Melton as he has played in the 6 a side tournament on a number of occasions, so we are pleased to welcome him to the club.  His experience of cricket at a high level in Norfolk and his record for Mallards and then Topcroft before, mark him out as a leading player for the First team as it prepares for the start of the new season in Division 2 of the Norfolk Cricket Alliance, which begins on 28th April.
