You will, no doubt, be aware of the proposals for amalgamating the Norfolk Cricket Alliance and the Norfolk Cricket League to create one-league in time for the 2021 season. Following the meeting of clubs at Dereham F.C. in October the NCB have taken on board the concerns raised, mainly to do with regionalisation, pitch standards & facilities and the involvement of the NCB in the new league, and amended the original draft proposals.

There will be an update on what is currently being proposed at the A.G.M. but, for those of you interested in the finer details and the structure of the newly proposed ‘Norfolk Recreational Cricket Association’, the various documents are available here.

The ‘Norfolk Recreational Cricket Association’ will be formally adopted at a meeting on Thursday 16th January at Park Farm, Hethersett. Please note that the documents are the 2020 ‘draft’ versions but the league won’t start until 2021.
