Sunday Captain; Senior Cricket Sub-Committee Member; Right-hand batsman; Right-arm slow bowler; Wicketkeeper

The son of Woody Loines, Kai has come through the junior ranks and, having helped out the Bs and Cs during 2015’s player shortage he was a regular in the C Team in 2016, frequently keeping wicket very effectively before moving into the Bs before becoming a regular A Team and Sunday cricketer.  Generally an agile fielder, his work behind the stumps has improved greatly and his batting has really developed since his early junior days, making him a solid middle-order batsman with a good range of shots.  He was U15s and young (U17) Player of the Year in 2017 when he scored 505 runs at an average of 21.  Kai also does his bit off-the-pitch as a Junior Coaching Assistant and, this season, he will experience his first taste of senior captaincy, having taken on the role of Sunday skipper.
