U17 Captain; Right hand batsman; Right-arm seam bowler

Josh, a product of the junior system, enjoyed a stella season in 2018, scoring 562 runs and taking 50 wickets. He was voted U15 Player of the Year, captaining the U15s to a first-ever triumph in the NCA Andy Seeley Trophy. By then a regular and pacy bowler and hard-hitting lower order batsman in the A Team, he also received the Young Player of the Year, Most Improved Player and A Team Player of the Year trophies at the Presentation Dinner.  Five trophies in a season is a hard act to follow but last season Josh continued his seamless progress into senior cricket, since first appearing for the C Team in 2016, by making 6 appearances for the First Team where he was used mainly as a bowler.  When the opportunity arose, in the A Team, he demonstrated his batting prowess with a new highest score of 72.  As a junior Josh represented the club at all levels from U11 to U17.  He was Most Improved Player for the U13s in 2016 and the U15s in 2017 and is the current U17 captain.  He also contributes off the pitch as one of the club’s invaluable coaching assistants
