Left-hand batsman.

‘Moxy’ played club cricket for his dad’s team in Kent before moving to Norwich and joining Melton in 2003. A left-handed top or middle-order batsman, he played a major part in the B Team’s success in winning NCL Division 8 in 2003, finishing runners-up in Division 7 in 2005 and winning Division 6 in 2008. He was B Team skipper in 2009 and did a good job until pressure of work forced him to relinquish the reins. The highlight of Moxy’s Melton career was his 106 against Happisburgh A in 2003. A decent fielder and reliable catcher Moxy is capable of scoring quickly with the bat and he found himself promoted to the A Team in 2015.  He took his chance well, proving one of the team’s most consistent batsmen but, since then, he has flitted between A and B teams and, last season, only played 9 times.
