All club members please do your best to attend the A.G.M on Wednesday 27th November at 7.30 p.m. in the Pavilion. After rounding off 2019 by adopting the various officers’ reports, it is your chance to examine the club’s finances, set the fees for 2020, elect officers and decide which teams we are able to put out next summer. In addition there will be some exciting plans revealed regarding improvements to the pavilion plus a chance to be updated on the new ‘one-league’ proposals.

It is your club and it’s most important that you are there to have your say on the important decisions. New proposals regarding subscriptions/match fees require careful consideration; there will, no doubt, be some debate about how many teams we run on a Saturday; but most pressing concerns relate to the future of the Sunday team. At present there just isn’t the commitment to Sunday cricket that there was two or three years ago and, to date, nobody has come forward to captain the team. We will need to decide whether we run a Sunday team (a) in the MNSL Premier Division (b) in a lower division of the MNSL (c) playing friendlies only or (d) not at all.

There are nominations for most of the other posts but we still need a second Junior Representative and a Team Manager for the U9s.

I have attached the AGM Agenda, a copy of the Club Development Plan, the Constitution, proposals regarding Subs & Match fees, the Financial & Auditor’s Reports and various other officers’ reports so you can click on the links and get well up to speed before the meeting. I also attach a brief analysis of the Players Survey that was completed by 53 club members at the the end of the season. I will add any other reports as they come in.
