Right hand batsman; Right arm bowler

Having attended the 2011 pre-season nets with his son Eusha it was immediately apparent Fawad had been a quality cricketer in his prime and, although not as sprightly in the field as he once was or would like to be, his skills as a bowler and a batsman have made him a regular in the B or C Teams. Fawad finished his first season at Great Melton with 29 wickets at an average of 14 in just 14 appearances, as well as scoring 156 runs, his performances enough to win him the B Team Player of the Year award.  Fawad struggled with a shoulder injury in 2012 and played 9 games as a batsmen but he made a bowling comeback in 2013, taking 16 wickets as well as scoring 285 runs including a big-hitting top score of 132 to win the B Team Player of the Year Award for the second time.    During 2015 and 2016 Fawad travelled with son Eusha and, sometimes, Imaad Khalid from Cambridge to play initially in the C Team but, from 2016 in the Bs.  Having had a spell working in Islamabad, he returned in 2019 to continue playing with Eusha in the B Team.
