Right hand batsman; Right-arm off spin bowler

Eusha, the son of Fawad Kaiser and a school mate of Nick Gristwood,  joined Melton at the start of the 2011 season. He played cricket as a young lad, representing Cambridgeshire at junior level, but having spent time in Pakistan then concentrating on football, he decided to make a cricketing comeback.  He showed flashes of his potential with the bat in his debut season but the unusually good player availability in the B and C Teams restricted his appearances.  However, in 2012, Eusha hit a superb 97 not out – his highest score – for the B Team and went on to play regularly in the Bs scoring 249 runs at an average of 31 to win the team’s Player of the Year trophy.  From 2013-16 he has been living in Bedford, at Anglia Ruskin University doing a BEng in Engineering, but has travelled home with his father Fawad and (sometimes) Immad Khalid, to play mainly in the B or C Teams. Eusha is keen to try his hand at captaincy but, having offered to captain the Sunday A Team this season, he’s now in line for a job in the oil & gas industry – in Pakistan!   At the beginning of 2017 Eusha has made 60 appearances for Melton and has scored 986 runs at an average of 21.91. His occasional off-spin has brought him 10 wickets.  Hopefully we’ll see him in action again as he plans to return to England in June.
