Connor, the 19-year-old son of Paul, has developed into a good all-rounder – just like his father.  Having played for the U11s in 2009, Connor had his best season for the U13s in 2011 when he scored 269 runs, averaged 39 and took 12 wickets to win both the Players’ and Coaches’ Player-of-the-Year trophies.  As if that wasn’t enough he also won the Player of the Tournament Trophy at the Junior Festival.  In the next 2 years he managed to retain his enthusiasm for cricket despite some family upheaval and represented the U15s, U17s, C and Sunday teams, whenever he could.  Connor played in the B & C Teams in 2014 but, in 2015 and 2016 he found himself mainly in the struggling A Team as a batsman.   A trainee bricklayer, Connor is a quiet, unassuming young man. Hopefully 2017 will see him add more runs and wickets to his tally which, at the start of the year, stood at 1316 runs (Ave 14.46) and 54 wickets (Ave 19.57) in 126 appearances.
